At Northwest Florida State College, we are committed to providing financial assistance for students to further their education. The financial resources of the students and their families should not limit educational opportunities. Northwest Florida State College provides a comprehensive student financial aid program consisting of scholarships, grants, loans, and employment. Aid is based on individual need, educational costs, availability of funds, and in some cases, merit. Funds may be limited, so students are encouraged to apply for financial aid by the advertised priority deadlines.
New Delivery Method for Financial Aid Refunds
NWFSC is changing the delivery of financial aid refunds. In the past students received a paper check from the college. Beginning April 1, 2011, financial aid refunds will be delivered to students on their NWFSC Discover Debit Card. The Discover Debit Cards were mailed directly to students in March from Central National Bank in Enid, OK. Students must activate both their Raider ID Card and the Discover Debit Card. Instructions for activation and the various web transactions will be mailed with your Discover Debit Card or see www.itsmyedu.com/nwfsc. Students will receive one Discover Debit Card free of charge.
