Academic Support

NWFSC offers several academic support services to help you be successful. Some of these services are available online, making it possible for distance learning students to access many of the same tutoring options available to students on campus. Most of these services are also available at multiple NWFSC locations to make getting help easy and convenient.

  • With access to Smarthinking, a free online tutoring service accessible through RaiderNet, students have quick and easy access to learning support for most subject areas.
  • Our Academic Success Center tutors provide help in most subjects. They can also answer quick questions for more help at a distance. Just call 729-5389 or email your question to asctutor@nwfsc.edu.
  • NWFSC's Math Lab tutors offer group tutoring sessions on a walk-in basis.
  • NWFSC's Academic Advisors can help you plan your courses so that you graduate as soon as possible, prepared for your next step, whether that is entering a four-year program or going straight into a career. Reach out to them and finish college!
