Applications Now Being Accepted for
Fall & Spring Term Bachelor's in Education Program

Jessica Allen Northwest Florida State College is now accepting applications for admission to the college's three degrees in Elementary Education, Middle Grades Mathematics Education, and Middle Grades General Science Education. Students may begin classes in the Fall and Spring terms. Applications for admission are accepted on a year-round basis. Program information and admissions applications are available on the menu to the right. The Elementary Education degree also provides endorsements in Reading and English as a Second Language instruction.

NWFSC Teacher Education graduates have a head start on their master's degree.

NWF State College Teacher Education graduates may receive six (6) graduate credits if they enroll in either of these UWF graduate Teacher Education programs within a year of NWF State College graduation:

Exceptional Student Education, M.A.
Curriculum and Instruction, M.Ed.

Students must meet UWF admission requirements to be accepted and receive this credit.

Students must apply to the University of West Florida for graduate admission and must have taken the GRE or MAT. Students with an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or better may delay testing until after admission.
UWF will award graduate credit to NWFSC graduates based on a UWF review of electronic protfolio assignments. Students will be required to provide UWF faculty members with guest access to their LiveText portfolio.
