NWFSC is approved by the Florida Board of Education to offer three bachelor's degrees leading to state certification in teacher education: the Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, the Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades General Science Education and the Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Mathematics Education. These degrees are designed to provide a career ladder for those who have already completed an Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree or have 60 hours of acceptable lower division coursework and who wish to continue their education at the bachelor's level. The Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education also includes endorsements in Reading and English as a Second Language.
