Professor Lynn Horrigan

Professor Lynn Horrigan Professor Lynn Horrigan is a Professor of Social Sciences at Northwest Florida State College. She earned a Masters in Counseling Psychology from the University of West Florida after completing her undergraduate work at the University of Southern Mississippi. Her work experience includes working with young children in crisis, runaway teens in the shelter setting, as well as work with addicts in the Women's Intervention Services and Education program for the Community Drug and Alcohol Council.

Professor Horrigan began teaching at Central Carolina Technical College in South Carolina before moving on to Howard College in San Angelo, Texas. She eventually moved back home to Florida and began her work at Northwest Florida State College. In addition to teaching psychology courses she also teaches a course entitled College Success which stresses time management, motivation and goal setting.
