Scholarships
The 2013 college show choir "Soundsations" performs a Broadway revue.
Students may apply for scholarships for this and many other Arts programs.
Scholarships in the Humanities, Fine and Performing Arts Division are awarded each semester in the areas of Dance, Drama, Instrument, Technical Theatre, Visual Arts, and Voice. Scholarships award those students with outstanding abilities with varying amounts of monetary funds to be used for tuition at Northwest Florida State College.
The general requirements to be eligible for scholarships: students must maintain satisfactory academic standing in general courses and a 3.5 GPA in scholarship area; students must participate in ensembles or classes assigned by the division director; students must work at least two Broadway shows per year; students must attend all scheduled classes; and students must complete a FAFSA. Scholarship recipients must re-apply each spring semester.
