Academic Success Center
The Academic Success Center is a FREE service provided by Northwest Florida State College for all of its students.
The ASC provides the following services:
- FREE tutoring for most academic subjects
- One-on-one tutoring
- Walk-ins OR appointments
- Telephone tutoring
- E-mail tutoring - Tutors will respond to your questions during their regularly scheduled work hours
- Make-up testing - All tests must be submitted by your instructor
- Limited tutoring is available at the Fort Walton Beach, Crestview, and DeFuniak Springs campuses. Call for availability of tutors and subjects.

SMARTHINKING
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A 2 HOUR LIMIT PER STUDENT PER SEMESTER.
Smarthinking is an online, real-time tutoring service providing FREE help from qualified tutors in writing, math, Spanish, accounting, economics, chemistry, physics, biology, and Anatomy and Physiology.
Students may contact a live tutor for immediate help, schedule a session, or submit papers or questions for feedback via email. Try Smarthinking for getting help quickly with academic challenges before you fall too far behind. This will help you be more successful in college this semester!
