NWF State College - The Basics, Information Session for New Students - December 4
Northwest Florida State College will hold an information session, "The Basics, What You Need to Know to Begin College", on December 4 at the college's Fort Walton Beach Campus from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in building 1, room 126. New and prospective students will receive help to fill out admissions and residency forms, and college staff will provide information on the free admissions process, placement testing, financial aid, programs of study and more. New students who attend the session will receive credit for the required new student orientation.
NWF State College is currently accepting new students for the upcoming Spring terms which begin January 7 and March 2. The college has an open-door admissions policy, offers the lowest tuition in Florida, and provides a comprehensive student financial aid program. Financial aid staff will be available at the sessions to answer questions about scholarships, grants, loans and other financial aid concerns. Financial aid is based on individual need, educational costs, availability of funds, and in some cases, merit.
