Registration for the Northwest Florida State College Spring 2009 term is now underway. Military members and base employees may enroll at the college's Eglin AFB & Hurlburt Field centers with ID. Returning students may enroll now by web, new student web enrollment starts December 1. In-person registration will be held at all six of the college's area locations from December 2 to 18 and on January 5 and 6.
All NWF State College campus locations are closed for in-person services November 26 to 28 and from December 20 to January 2. Registration, payment of fees, purchase of textbooks and new student orientation are all available through the college website over the holiday break. Hundreds of day, evening, weekend and online classes at NWF State College begin January 7 and March 2. In addition to college-credit courses, NWF State also offers free courses for adults who do not have a high school diploma, including adult basic education, preparation for the GED high school equivalency test, and English-as-As Second Language. NWF State College has an open door admissions policy and there is no fee to apply for admission to the college. The college offers the lowest college tuition in Florida, financial aid, and an installment fee-payment plan.
