OWC's Charter Class of Radiography Graduates Honored at Pinning Ceremony

The Radiography program at Okaloosa-Walton College held a pinning ceremony May 14 to recognize the charter class of nineteen students who completed the Associate of Science in Radiography degree which began in Fall 2006. This first class to graduates from the program are now also eligible to take the national certification examination of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Recognized at the ceremony with special awards were: "Scholastic Achievement"- Angela Daniel, Christina Ryan, and Ricki Vitito. "Clinical Excellence": Meghan Brown, Angela Daniel, Michael Materese and Danette Sanders.
The OWC radiography faculty expressed special thanks to Wayne Campbell, Chief Executive Officer of Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, and David Whalen, Chief Executive Officer of Twin Cities Hospital, for donating the radiography pins for the ceremony.
