A perfect treat for Valentine's, this timeless classic was a Tony-Award winner on Broadway and features a sweeping, romantic score by Lerner and Loewe with all the classic songs featured on Broadway and in the 1954 MGM movie hit starring Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse, including "Waitin' for My Dearie," "I'll Go Home with Bonnie Jean," "The Heather on the Hill" and more. Brigadoon's fantastical story is that of a village that rises in the Scottish mists just one day every hundred years. Two American tourists lost in the hills of Scotland stumble upon the enchanted village, where the men are clad in tartan kilts, the lasses swish around in multicolored petticoats, and the bagpipes are blowing. Tommy soon falls in love with the village lass, Fiona, but if Tommy stays in Brigadoon, he must give up everything from the present. And, if Fiona leaves with Tommy, Brigadoon will vanish into the highland mist, never to be seen again.
