NWF State College Nursing Graduates Honored at Pinning Ceremony

The Nursing program at Northwest Florida State College held a pinning ceremony May 4 to recognize the 32 students who completed the Associate of Science in Nursing degree. Associate of Science graduates are qualified to take the Registered Nursing (RN) licensure exam. The NWF State College nursing faculty expressed special thanks to Wayne Campbell, CEO of Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, for donating the nursing pins for the ceremony.
Recognized at the ceremony with special awards were: Michelle Parkin with the ''Clinical Excellence in Nursing Award''; Kealie Hansen with the ''Academic Excellence in Nursing Award''; and Brian Pullam with the ''Future Nurse Leadership Award''. Deborah Berry, Shelley Bryant, Nicoleta Chiriac, Amanda Cole, Kealie Hansen, Brenda Jones-Heslep, Brian Pullam, Mary Salmond, Vanessa Steele, and Jennifer Underwood were recognized for being named among NWFSC's students in ''Who's Who Among American Junior Colleges.''
