At Northwest Florida State College there are several foundation scholarships available to qualified ROTC students. These scholarships vary in amount. For those student who start at Northwest Florida State College then attend a 4-year university, two-year and three-year scholarships may be available for qualified applicants. Under the merit-based scholarship program, in addition to a monthly stipend*, the U. S. Army pays all tuition fees, a flat rate for college textbooks and other related expenses (except room and board).
To date, every qualified applicant who applied for the UWF Army ROTC program after participating in ROTC at Northwest Florida State College has received a two year Army ROTC scholarship.
