Besides lacking successful completion of required courses, other issues can prevent timely graduation such as lack of official high school or college transcripts, outstanding financial obligations such as parking fines and library fines, meeting CLAS requirements, and meeting Northwest Florida State College residency and GPA requirements. During the next to last term of enrollment, the student should contact an advisor/counselor or the Office of Enrollment Services to ensure all graduation requirements can be met as expected. Graduation is NOT automatic. Final responsibility for all graduation requirements rests with the student including applying for graduation by the established deadline listed above. If a student lacks the requirements for graduating in the semester that they have applied, the student will need to re-apply for the next semester. Graduation applications are available at the Enrollment Services Office, Building C1 at the Niceville Campus, at any Northwest Florida State College Campus/Center or from the following links:

Northwest Florida State College conducts one graduation ceremony per year in May. Graduation regalia (caps, gowns, tassels) are available at the Northwest Florida State College College Stores approximately four weeks prior to the graduation ceremony. There is no charge to students for those wishing to participate in the graduation ceremony. Graduates will receive information from Student Services about graduation and picking up their regalia.
