Florida Criminal Justice Basic Abilities Test (FBAT)
All Florida Criminal Justice Basic Abilities Test (FBAT) will be administered in the
Testing Center at the Student Services Center located at the Niceville Campus. Test
candidates will have 2.5 hours to complete the FBAT.
On the day of the test, you will need to present a photo ID (Florida driver's license or Florida ID card), and verification of social security number (either social security card or military ID with social security number).
The FBAT is an exam that is required for all Northwest Florida State College students who are entering the Law Enforcement or Corrections programs. Students planning to enroll in these programs should contact the Public Safety Department for details: (850) 729-5378. Non-Northwest Florida State College students who are required to take the FBAT for employment consideration with Florida agencies are also eligible to test at the Testing Center.
Study guides for the FBAT are available at any bookstore. You may also find it helpful to search online for additional resources and practice exams.
The test is administered online and results are available the day of the test.

Register Blast at least 24 hours in advance of your desired test time.
