Teal is the New ORANGE!
10/14/2016
The Pre-Professional Educators Association and the Student Government Association is raising awareness for the TEAL PUMPKIN PROJECT® by providing local children in our area with non-food treats for their Halloween festivities. The Teal Pumpkin Project® helps ensure that children with food allergies, and other children for whom candy is not an option, can enjoy a safer, happier Halloween. 1 in 13 children in the U.S. has a food allergy.

We will be collecting Non-Food treats throughout October to donate to The Children’s Advocacy Center in Niceville. You can locate the collection bins in the Activities Center and Building 520.

Non-Food Treats Ideas: Glow sticks, bracelets, or necklaces. Pencils, pens, crayons or markers. Bubbles, Halloween erasers or pencil toppers. Mini Slinkies, Whistles, kazoos, or noisemakers, Bouncy balls, Finger puppets or novelty toys. Coins, spider rings, Vampire fangs, Mini notepads, Playing cards, Bookmarks, Stickers, Stencils, and much more.
