Women's Educational Resource Services
Women's Educational Resource Services at Northwest Florida State College are in place to assist students, primarily women, who are returning to school because of a divorce, separation or death of a spouse. The program assists single parents and displaced homemakers with education and training so they can enter the workforce with marketable skills and abilities. Services include:
- Assessment of skills and abilities
- A support system while students make changes
- Referrals to campus and community services
- Non-traditional career information
- Information leading to high wage vocational employment
- Resume and interview skills
