FAQ: Who is Eligible?
Florida law requires school districts to establish articulation agreements for dual enrollment with community colleges that follow common guidelines statewide. Okaloosa-Walton Community College has separate agreements with both the Walton County and Okaloosa County School Districts.

Common Florida Dual Enrollment Guidelines
School districts and community colleges throughout Florida are required by statute to have agreements to provide dual enrollment opportunities and to follow guidelines approved by the state Articulation Coordinating Committee in April 1996. The document contains a delineation of courses, an identification of eligibility criteria for student participation, a delineation of the responsibilities for the maintenance of instructional quality including faculty credentials. Faculty credentials are the same as for any other college course at Florida public institutions -- a master's degree in the field being taught or a master's degree plus 18 hours in the field being taught.
