Dr. Caise Vickery is a retired Air Force Officer with over twenty years experience in Contracting, Program Management, and Acquisition Management. He has held unlimited warrants for both the Air Force and the National Reconnaissance Office. Currently he teaches in the Bachelor of Applied Science in Project Management degree at Northwest Florida State College. As an undergraduate, Caise studied at Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard and was a Distinguished Graduate from the Reserve Officer Training Corps at MIT where he studied Aerospace Science. He went on to graduate studies where he earned a Master Science in Contracting Management from the Air Force Institute of Technology (Distinguished Graduate), and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Florida State University. A graduate of the Defense Systems Management College, he is a Certified Acquisition Professional (Level III) and a Certified Professional Contracts Manager from the National Contract Management Association. Caise is the recipient of multiple Defense Meritorious Service Medals and the National Reconnaissance Office’s Silver Medal for Superior Service. He has been named professor of the year by the NWFSC Alumni Association for the years 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
