“We never tire of celebrating the success of our outstanding students,” said Dr. Devin Stephenson, NWF State College President. “We are creating a culture of excellence through academic programs such as our Dental Assisting program that are relevant and meeting the workforce needs of our communities. We celebrate with the students, faculty and staff in our Dental Assisting program and congratulate them on this outstanding achievement.”

The Commission on Dental Accreditation is a nationally recognized agency that independently accredits dental schools and programs based on a set of standards that seek to ensure quality and continuous improvement. CODA accredits over 1,400 dental and dental-related education programs nationwide while providing a standard for professional and ethical conduct at the post-secondary level.

For the faculty and staff of the NWF Dental Assisting program, this is validation of their continued efforts. “The high average scores for our students on the National Board represent their outstanding dedication,” says Julie Nelson, Director of Dental Assisting. “Their talent and motivation is exceptional and we feel encouraged about the program’s ability to sustain this success in future years.”
