NWF State College recognizes students completing EMT and firefighter programs
On Dec. 15, Northwest Florida State College recognized students who successfully completed the college's certificate program for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and the certificate program for firefighting during the fall 2015 academic semester.
Two EMT graduates were recognized with special awards at the ceremony: David Vaughan, Academic Excellence Award for highest class GPA; Luke Turner, EMS Hearts & Hands Award in recognition of professionalism, compassion and positive attitude.
Among the Fire Academy graduates, Tony Pudivitr received both the class academic award and the leadership award.
