NWF State College Presents Camp Glee Summer Dramatics Program for Youth

The Fine and Performing Arts Division at Northwest Florida State College will offer a Creative Dramatics summer workshop titled "Camp Glee!" from May 31 to June 30 for students age 13 through college. Participants will learn about choreography, acting, voice, makeup and staging and will star in One Hundred Years of Broadway on June 30th at the college's Mattie Kelly Fine and Performing Arts Center. No prior experience in theater is required and eligible high school and college students may earn college credit. The "Camp Glee" Creative Dramatics program will meet from 8:30 am to 1:35 pm, Monday through Thursday, at the Niceville campus.

High school students may be eligible to take the Creative Dramatics class free of charge if they qualify for dual enrollment. All dual or concurrent students must enroll through the Dual/Concurrent Office on the Niceville campus, Bldg. C. Previously enrolled dual students may register starting April 19, all new dual students may register starting April 28. Those participants who are not dual enrolled may register for the program for $338.48 starting May 9 at any NWFSC campus or center. Current NWFSC students may also enroll online.

New students should enroll in NWFSC course numbers DAA1580-75890 (Musical Theater Dance I) and THE2820-75891 (Creative Dramatics I). Returning Creative Dramatics students should enroll in NWFSC course numbers DAA1580-75890 (Musical Theater Dance I) and THE2821-75892 (Creative Dramatics II).
