NWFSC Prime Time Personal Enrichment Classes, Registration Begins September 6

Registration for the Fall PRIME Time series of personal enrichment classes offered by Northwest Florida State College begins September 6 at the Niceville campus and South Walton Center. In-person registration at all seven NWFSC locations starts September 7 until the first class session, space permitting. The PRIME Time schedule of classes and information is available on the college website at www.nwfsc.edu/schedule, at community locations such as libraries and chambers of commerce, or by calling the NWFSC Continuing Education Department at 729-6084.
All PRIME Time courses are non-credit and are designed for personal enrichment with no grades or tests given. Open to adults of any age, PRIME Time non-credit classes start in September, October and November and range from $5 to $75. Courses focus on computers, health, foods, fitness, politics, arts, gardening, and more.
More than 40 courses are offered on the NWFSC Niceville campus. The 16 courses offered in South Walton and Destin include a new Lunch and Learn on "Titanic: The Ship of Dreams" offered at Rutherford's in Destin. The popular Chef's Choice series will feature various area restaurants including The Grille at Kelly Plantation, Longhorn Steakhouse, and Melting Pot. Fitness 101 will be offered at the college's Chautauqua Center located in DeFuniak Springs. New courses this year include – American Women in WWII "A Weapon Waiting to be Used," Beginning Sign Language, Journaling Adventures!, Astronomy, and Mosaics Magic: Beginning Stained Glass Mosaics.
In-person registration on September 6 at NWFSC in Niceville (in the Student Services Center) and South Walton is from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Individuals who have previously enrolled may register by web at www.nwfsc.edu starting September 6 at 9:00 am. Registration continues at all seven NWFSC locations starting September 7 and continues until classes start or are filled. PRIME Time participants receive the benefits of regular NWF State College students, including use of the library, access to special events, and free parking.
