How To Apply

To apply to the Nursing Program (RN) at NWFSC:

NOTE: If you have VA benefits, you will need to contact the NWFSC Veteran's Affairs office at (850) 729-5375 before applying to the nursing program.

  1. Go to www.nwfsc.edu
  2. Click on RaiderNet on the right menu:



  3. Click on Want to apply? click here

  4. Select the appropriate response below:



  5. At this point, you will logon either as a returning student or as a new student. Please have residency documents on hand - both new students and returning students must provide residency information. If you are a new student, you will also be completing the application for admission to the college.

  6. Select "I am seeking an Associate degree or certificate".


  7. Fill in Personal Information screens, and once you get to the Program of Study Selection page:



  8. Select either Nursing (RN) (AS 2000A) if you are applying to the RN program, or Nursing LPN to RN (AS-2000B) if you are applying to the LPN to RN program.



  9. You will be asked to answer questions depending on which program you are applying to. You do not have to answer "Yes" to all of the questions in order to apply to the program. These are just reminders to you that the requirements need to be completed by January 31, 2012.





  10. After you submit your application, you will receive the following message. Please print this page for your records. A separate email from the nursing department will be sent to your NWFSC student email account within 10 days of submitting your application.


  11. To check the status of your application: logon to RaiderNet, then click on Records, then Limited Access Application Status.


  12. Points will not be posted until sometime towards the end of February 2012. You will be notified by email to your student account when the final points are posted.
