College Level Exam Program (CLEP)
Time is everyone's most valuable -- and scarcest -- commodity. By reducing the number of courses needed to complete a college degree, the College Level Exam Program (CLEP) can make it easier for students of all ages to complete their degrees more quickly. Prior to registering for a CLEP exam, we recommend that you meet with an academic advisor/counselor at your college to determine if CLEP tests might be an appropriate option for you. The college can also provide information on the scores required for granting credit, the number of credit hours granted, and the courses that can be bypassed with satisfactory scores.

Active duty military testing at the Hurlburt Center will be tested free of charge. Retest fees for military- funded candidates are $80.00. If military-funded testing is completed at the Niceville campus, there is a $20 administration fee.

How to Register for the CLEP exam
CLEP exams are offered for the general public at the Niceville campus only. Active duty military members may test at Hurlburt Field for no charge for the first attempt. Effective July 1, 2012, the fee for each CLEP exam is $80 plus a $20 administration fee. You should proceed to the Cashier in the Student Services Center, 2nd floor, to pay the $20 administration fee. The $80 testing fee will be paid in the testing room either by check (made out to CLEP) or by MasterCard, VISA, Discover, or American Express.Active duty military testing at the Hurlburt Center will be tested free of charge. What to bring to the CLEP test
If you are testing at the Niceville campus, two (2) forms of ID must be presented along with your payment for the test. Acceptable ID's are Driver's license, State/Military ID, or Current Passport, plus Student/Employee photo ID, Credit card w/photo or Social Security Card. Active duty military must present their military ID card. All testing supplies will be provided. Cell phones, food, and drinks are NOT allowed in the testing room.CLEP Test preparation
