Early Childhood Education Certificates

Florida Childcare Professional Credential (FCCPC)

NWF State College is an approved provider of the Florida Childcare Professional Credential (FCCPC) program with two options: Preschool and Infant/Toddler.

In addition to required coursework, FCCPC candidates must have 480 documented clock hours working with preschool or infant/toddler age children, respective of speciality. Courses required for each option are as follows:

Preschool FCCPC

Infant/Toddler FCCPC

Florida Director’s Credential

Students may also take the state-approved course EEC 1002, Early Childhood Program Administration to obtain the Florida Director’s Credential. Students should contact the department for the additional requirements for this credential.

National Child Development Associate

Students wishing to obtain a national CDA should contact the Teacher Education Department for requirements.

How to Enroll

Apply for admission to the College if you are not already a student. Select non-degree seeking student (no transcripts are needed).

Once notified of admission, register for the required coursework.

Cost of Tuition

Please visit the Tuition and Fees page for a breakdown of tuition cost. Please note that online classes include a supplemental distance learning fee of $15 per credit hour. Fees are charged per credit, per term.
