Associate in Science
Northwest Florida State College offers a two-year program of study leading to an Associate in Science (A.S.) degree in Theater & Entertainment Technology with areas of specialization/emphasis in Acting, Costuming, Dance, Music Theater and Technical Theater. A companion college credit certificate in Stage Technology is also available.
The A.S. degree, with an emphasis in the area of the Humanities, Fine or Performing Arts, qualifies students for entry as a junior into an upper-division university program and many students who have completed such an emphasis have gone on to secure scholarships at major university programs in Dance, Theater, Arts, and more.
