Maj. Gen. Thomas B. “Rudy” Wright, USAF, Ret. is Vice Chair, NWF Board of Trustees. He also serves on the Governing Board for Collegiate HS, the Institute for Senior Professionals, and the City of Niceville Library Foundation Board. Gen. Wright has a M.S. in biological science from Florida State and a M.S. in National Security Strategy from the National War College. He served 32 years in the USAF commanding both a fighter and a reconnaissance wing and held numerous senior executive-level staff positions. Gen. Wright is a Command Pilot, a graduate of the USAF Fighter Weapons School, and accumulated over 3,000 flying hours in the F-15, of which 430 were combat hours over Iraq. His focus is to serve as an ethical Board member with excellence and distinction while assisting NWF to continue raising the bar of achievement for others to emulate. He enjoys surfing and fitness.
