Steps to Enroll 

You are considered a Transient student if you are:  

  • Currently enrolled at a non-Florida post-secondary institution but wish to take courses at NWFSC that will transfer back to their home institution are considered standard Non-Degree Seeking students at NWFSC and should complete the College’s regular online Non-Degree Seeking application.   

1. Apply for Admission 

  • Complete the non-degree seeking application for admission. 
  • Pay $25 application fee. 

2. Submit any Necessary Supporting Documents 

  • If your intended course has a prerequisite, you will need to submit a copy of a transcript, applicable score report, or authorization from your home institution to take the course. 

3. Complete the Residency Declaration for Discounted Tuition 

  • NWFSC offers one of the lowest tuition rates in the state of Florida. To take advantage of this and receive in-state tuition, students must prove Florida Residency by submitting the Florida Residency Declaration and provide all applicable supporting documentation.  
    • Log into your NWFSC RaiderNet account 
    • Fill out the Florida Residency Declaration form.  
      • Note: The Residency Declaration form and supporting documentation must be submitted by the first day of classes of your first term to be eligible for the discounted tuition rate.
