You are a First-Time in College student if you are a

  • High school (or equivalent) graduate who has not yet attended college.
  • High school graduate who earned college credit through high school dual enrollment at Northwest Florida State College (or another college or university).

Dual Enrollment Student

You are a Dual Enrollment student if you are:

  • A current high school/home school student who plans to take college classes at NWFSC before high school graduation.

  • Transferring from another college or university with or without a degree.

  • A former NWFSC student who has not enrolled in classes during the last three academic semesters.

  • Planning to study in the U.S. and require an F-1 or M-1 student visa to study at NWFSC.
    • International students who do not need an F-1 or M-1 Visa should select their appropriate student type.

Transient Student

You are considered a Transient student if you are:

  • Currently enrolled at a non-Florida post-secondary institution but wish to take courses at NWFSC that will transfer back to their home institution are considered standard Non-Degree Seeking students at NWFSC and should complete the College’s regular online Non-Degree Seeking application.
