NWF State College can assist teachers on a temporary teaching certificate by providing the transferrable courses with required college credits needed to move to a full professional teaching certificate.

While NWF is not a designated Educator Preparation Institute (EPI) provider, courses for meeting certification requirements have been approved by the Florida Department of Education. For individuals wishing to move from a temporary to a professional teaching certificate, the steps for taking courses are outlined below.

How to Enroll

1. Apply for admission to the College if you are not already a student. Select non-degree seeking student (no transcripts needed).
2. Scan and email a copy of your Department of Education Official Statement of Status of Eligibility to Brittany Wyatt at Brittany Wyatt.
3. For assistance with registration, email your student ID number to Brittany Wyatt.
