NWF Student Awarded Phi Theta Kappa’s Spring 2018 Hurst Review NCLEX® Scholarship

NICEVILLE, FL- NWF Student Allyse Bray (Fort Walton Beach) was recently selected as one of only 22 students in the nation to receive Phi Theta Kappa’s Spring 2018 Hurst Review NCLEX® Scholarship. The scholarship helps cover the cost of NCLEX exam fees and study materials.

“This award not only speaks volumes about Allyse’s commitment to excellence, but also showcases the superior teaching by our NWF State College nursing department,” says Dr. Devin Stephenson, President. “Honors such as this one makes it clear that NWF State College is creating successful pathways for students to excel in their studies, which will launch them to a successful career.”

The scholarship, funded by national nursing exam prep company Hurst Review Services, is exclusively for Phi Theta Kappa nursing majors who plan to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX®). Hurst Scholars will receive a code to cover the cost of Hurst Review NCLEX® study materials and a cash award to cover the NCLEX® exam fees.

The NCLEX® is a standardized exam given by each state’s board of nursing to determine if RN or LPN/LVN candidates are competent for entry-level nursing practice. In addition to the scholarship, Hurst also provides a $50 discount on NCLEX study materials — including the company’s newest product, N-STREAM — for all Phi Theta Kappa members preparing to take the exam.
