Financial Aid Audit for Northwest Florida State College Reports No Findings or Deficiencies

NICEVILLE, FL– Northwest Florida State College’s financial aid audit, prepared by the Office of the Auditor General in the State of Florida, reports no findings or deficiencies.

“Federal financial assistance is critical for many of our students. This additional support assists our students improve their lives through higher education programs and services,” said Dr. Devin Stephenson, President of Northwest Florida State College. “I am extremely pleased this audit confirms the excellent work of our student financial services team, and once again demonstrates “The Best Is Our Standard.”

For the 2016-2017 academic year, 51 percent of students received a grant or scholarship aid from the federal government, State of Florida, Northwest Florida State College or other sources. The average amount of aid per student was $2,951. The total amount of aid awarded to our students was $8,647,765.
