NWF State College Nursing Program Ranked in Florida’s Top 15

NICEVILLE, FL- The Northwest Florida State College Nursing Program was recently ranked as one of the top 15 associate of science (A.S.) in nursing programs among all Florida colleges and universities by RegisteredNursing.org.

“Our nursing program continues to demonstrate that the best is our standard,” says Dr. Devin Stephenson, President. “This designation shows the hard work of our students and faculty, and proves that our students leave NWF State College prepared for their career.”

This award is based on an analysis of past and present pass rates of the NCLEX-RN, a national exam used to assess competency of registered nursing students that is required for licensure.

The state of Florida has more than 130 associate of science in nursing programs of which RegisteredNursing.org ranked the top 50 by percentage of graduates who pass the exam. The nursing program at NWF State College was ranked 15.

“We are proud to share that we have a 93.77 pass rate on the NCLEX exam,” says Dr. Charlotte Kuss, Director of Nursing. “Our outstanding faculty and staff, along with the support of the College administration, will continue to be committed to providing our students with a quality nursing education.”
