Governor Scott Announces NWF State College Board of Trustees Appointments

NICEVILLE, FL-  Governor Rick Scott recently announced Charlotte Flynt, Lori Kelley and Tom Wright to the NWF State College Board of Trustees.

“We are honored to have our three new trustees join us at NWF State College,” says Dr. Devin Stephenson, President. “Each of them brings a passion for the college, deep community knowledge and extensive experience in their industry.  I’m confident that they will be a tremendous asset to the college as we further our mission.”

Charlotte Flynt, of Miramar Beach, is a retired general contractor and owner of Two Oaks Construction, Inc. She is appointed to fill a seat previously held by her late husband Michael Flynt, for a term beginning February 20, 2018, and ending May 31, 2018.

Lori Kelley, of Fort Walton Beach, is a certified public accountant with Warren Averett, LLC. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of West Florida. Kelley is appointed to fill a vacant seat for a term beginning February 20, 2018 and ending May 31, 2018.

Thomas Wright, of Niceville, is a retired Major General in the United States Air Force and served as the Deputy Chief of Staff Operations for SHAPE HQ. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Florida State University, and a master’s in National Defense Strategy from the National Defense University. Wright is appointed to fill a vacant seat for a term beginning February 20, 2018 and ending May 31, 2020.

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
