NWF State College Students Excel at SkillsUSA State Competition

NICEVILLE, FL– NWF State College students brought home a number of accolades from the SkillsUSA State Conference held in Pensacola on April 30 – May 1, 2018.
The following students placed:
Audio Production
- 1st Place Team—Matthew Hall (Santa Rosa Beach) and Samuel McClead (Fort Walton Beach)
Career Pathways-Health Services
- 1st Place Team—Megan Campbell (Fort Walton Beach), Ashley Peterson (Niceville) and Hailey Roach (Mary Esther)
Career Pathways-Human Services
- 1st Place Team—Kaitlyn Crawford (Crestview), Kayla Greene (Niceville) and Jamie Oldacre (Crestview)

SkillsUSA is an educational partnership that provides students, teachers and other professionals with the tools needed to excel in the workforce. Each year, SkillsUSA puts on several competitions at the local, regional, state and national levels to test the skillset of students who are preparing to begin their careers.
All NWF students that placed first in their category at the state level are invited to compete at the National Leadership and Skills Conference in Louisville, Kentucky on June 25-29, 2018.
