NOTIFICATION: Northwest Florida State College Closed through March 29 Due to COVID-19/Coronavirus

NICEVILLE, FL – As the outbreak of COVID-19/Coronavirus continues to evolve, Northwest Florida State College administration has announced closure of the College and all associated operations the week of March 16 (Spring Break) and the week of March 23 in response to recommendations from numerous local, state, and federal officials and agencies . This suspension applies to all classes (online, hybrid, and traditional) as well as clinicals.  At this time, the College intends to reopen on Monday, March 30, 2020. Further communication about operations beginning March 30 will be provided to students and employees by Thursday, March 26, 2020.

This action is taken in the interest of the health and well-being of our students, faculty, staff, and the broader community. Constituents are asked to avoid coming to the college campus/center locations so the facilities can be thoroughly sanitized.

College administration continues to work directly with the Department of Health, the Florida Department of Education, and other appropriate agencies regarding COVID-19/Coronavirus. College administration will continue to monitor this rapidly evolving situation and provide regular updates via our website and social media channels.
