About ELM Youth

NWFSC’s Entrepreneurship, Leadership, & Mentorship (“ELM”) youth initiative is a 10-month extracurricular program that runs from August-May for high school juniors and seniors who are interested in developing an entrepreneurial mindset, leadership skills, and developing as young professionals. Students who are invested in personal growth will learn about business, their local communities, and how their gifts and talents can be maximized in a future career. This program places a particular emphasis on trades and other skill-based, non-traditional professions to assist students in finding and cultivating the right path for their intended vocations. With a strong presence of and exposure to experts in their fields, students will have the opportunity to become mentees of community leaders while growing their networks and learning with one another.
