State Group Insurance Program Benefits

Benefits Open Enrollment for 2025 will offer full-time NWFSC employees more choices and more coverage as we transition into the State Group Insurance Program. The State Group Insurance Program offers and manages a comprehensive package of health and welfare insurance benefits for eligible active and retired employees and their dependents, including health, dental, vision, life, and supplemental insurance plans and savings and spending accounts. Employee Assistance Program

The Employee Assistance Program is a benefit that is provided to all full-time employees, their spouses and dependent children. The EAP encourages employees to seek prompt, professional help to resolve personal problems. The College has prepaid the cost of initial evaluation, plus three additional counseling sessions. The State Group Insurance Program also offers an Employee Assistance Program.

Workers’ Compensation

Northwest Florida State College is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all of its employees. The Human Resources Department administers the Workers’ Compensation Program for the College.
