Program Information

Before program admission

  • Attend the Welding program orientation
  • Review the Selective Admission Point System for information about specific admissions criteria
  • Submit previous welding experience documentation including letter of recommendation and/or office high school/postsecondary transcripts
  • Visit an Okaloosa Career Source Center (must retain letterhead with date/time of visit)
  • Submit drug and alcohol screening results

After program admission

  • Take the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) (unless you have a two-year degree or higher, if you completed four years of high school in Florida, or if you score high enough on the ACT, SAT or PERT)

Current application Deadline: June (day classes) and December (night classes)
